my wife for christmas go a racheal ray cook pot set. yes it is the same orange color as the one on tv. after reading up on them after they were opened up, they are ceramic which is nice but they can not do the really high heats for any kind of searing. oh well. wife did not seem to mind that too much, thats what cast iron is for.
anyways, last night we had some frinds over for dinner for the new year, and while cooking with 3 of those new pots, one of the lids shattered! can you believe that? what makes it more odd is that it was the lid on a pot that was on low heat. the other 2 were on high heat and had no problems.
someone spends that kind on $ and you have to file a claim because of a flaw in the glass. at least there is a warranty...

I could say a lot but I'll sum it up. I hate Rachael Ray. That must have sucked to have that lid break while you had friends over. You should tell them to send you a better brand set of pots and pans.

as it turns out, the lid is being replaced for free, and who whould have known that where the item comes from is only 40 min away at most.
