Im pretty sure that where we want to go is near by the 7 on the map
Taskmaster Mirot
Level: 75
Effects Used:Wave of Death
Known Loot:
Magically Sealed Letter
Known Habitats:
Lesser Faydark
Max hit:
About 800
Bring some friends (1-3 groups) and head to Lesser Faydark. Find Taskmaster Mirot in the southwest corner of the zone at -60, +3430.
You say, 'Hail, Taskmaster Mirot'
You will be attacked by many of "a Wayfarer," all of which say "You traitor, we've been waiting for you". There are around six of them, each level 65 and hitting for around 600. They all have low hps, are mezzable, rootable, and stunnable. You must kill them in order. You generally have a minute or so to rest before the second wave. Once they're all dead, the camp respawns full of undead and a new version of Taskmaster Mirot, level 70, who casts an AE Feign Death ("Wave of Death" which also DDs for 1500), and rampages. Kill the six Reanimated Minions, each of which are clerics, hit for 800+, and are linked to one another. The white skeletons are mezzable and the brown ones are rootable/snareable. Mirot will summon the skeletons back to him if they go too far away.
Once everything is dead, loot a Magically Sealed Letter, which identifies as "A magical seal prevents opening." A chest may spawn with additional loot. Take this letter back to Tavon Vastsea.
This was posted on alla not sure how true it is but it is some extra info
The first wave was trivial for us. We pulled the Wayfarers a short distance from their camp, and slaughtered them good.
The second wave (skeletons) spawned in the camp immediately when the last Wayfarer died -- NOT a minute or two later as stated elsewhere. All the skeletons and the Taskmaster are indeed aggro-linked, so forget about trying to Pacify anything. Our strategy was to simply DPS Taskmaster Mirot as fast as possible, while the Enchanter mezzed the mezzable skellies (I think there were three mezzable ones).
On the first try we wiped miserably. On our second attempt we died with Taskmaster at 3% (argh!), but by then we knew what we were doing and the third try was a solid win. We used the Infusion vet AA on the last try which seemed to help resist the FD proc. Taskmaster died fairly quickly that time (maybe 90 seconds), and then we mopped up the skellies. A few of us died, but I had bound my cleric a short distance away so recovery was a cinch.
My suggestion for anyone doing the fight is to try and try again. Since you can restart the event right away, it's easy to try different approaches and adjust your methods accordingly. Choose a spot to pull to, and bind your Cleric out of aggro range of both the Wayfarer camp and your kill spot.
The skeletons will Complete Heal during the fight, so you will either have to outpace their heals with your DPS, run the skellies out of mana, or deal with them first. I don't recommend doing the skellies first though, as you'll have to put up with Taskmaster Mirot's annoying FD proc as long as he's alive.
I would estimate Taskmaster Mirot's HP at less than 100k, probably closer to 75K but hard to tell with all those skellies healing him. He resisted my disease and poison dots every time, as well as my magic-based slow. My cold nuke landed most of the time. He AE Rampaged (Wild Rampage) about 5 or 6 times per minute. His DPS on our tanks was around 200-250, and max hit (on casters) was 800.
It's important to know that if either the first or second wave goes more than a few minutes without aggro, they will despawn and the event will reset -- so be prepared to engage the second wave pretty much right away. If the second wave doesn't spawn instantly after the first, you missed a Wayfarer or two on the pull so check the huts and pull them fast.
The trickiest part of the fight is the FD proc and tanks losing aggro due to it. Make sure your force is aware of this and be ready to stand up and reengage when it hits.
